Res Day of Giving - Jan 30, 2020

January 30, 2020 marked our first RES Giving Day. 

A Challenge was presented to our Resurrection Community:  "If 75 donors make a gift during this campaign, Resurrection will receive $75,000 worth of challenge funding! ".  When the goal was met by midday, a second challange was presented:  "Two donors have stepped up to offer a second challenge grant of $10,000, if we secure an additional 25 donors."   

The astounding success of the day was shared in this message on 1/31/2020: 

We have 190 reasons to be thankful here at RES!  On behalf of the Board of the Resurrection School Foundation, we would like to offer our sincerest thanks to the parents, students, alumni and friends of Resurrection for their support and generosity of our first ever RES Day of Giving.

We are thrilled to report that we not only unlocked BOTH challenge grants, we set a new record for one-day giving at Res!  We raised $138,047 from 190 generous donors.

The support of our parent base is phenomenal, but we’d like to extend an extra special thanks to our students, alumni and past parents who made up a combined total of 49% of our donors.  We are humbled by the generosity of this community, which believes so strongly in the power of Catholic education. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of each one of our students.
